What is Intenature Art?

Intenature is a regenerative art practice that combines creativity with environmental responsibility. Every work is made using materials gathered from the natural world — handmade paper, clays, charcoal pigments, and repurposed framing. Intenature Art also introduces a unique approach to valuing art: a dual-payment system combining a financial payment with a commitment to complete real, verified environmental work. Every artwork becomes a collaboration between the artist, the buyer, and the Earth itself to ensure each artwork gives back more than it takes.

How Intenature Art Is Made

Every artwork begins in the natural world. Materials are gathered with respect, used responsibly, and transformed through slow, traditional techniques.
Handmade Paper
Created from plant fibres, natural materials, and recycled sources gathered around the Earthlore property.
Natural Pigments
Colours are derived from local clays, soil, charcoal, and other natural resources, processed by hand.
Recycled and Repurposed Frames
Frames are built or restored using reclaimed timber and discarded materials, giving new life to what would otherwise become waste.

Or Take The Intenature Challenge
The Challenge is a pledge to give back for all we take — a seed planted, a care offered, a life restored. Small acts of restoration, carried hand to hand, become a current of renewal across the Earth.

How the dual payment system works

new way to value art — honouring
both the maker and the Earth.

1. Choose Your Artwork
Select an original Intenature piece or commission a custom work.
2. Make the Monetary Payment
This covers the labour, craftsmanship, and handmade natural materials that go into the work.
3. Complete the Environmental Contribution
Each artwork includes a required number of hours of environmentally beneficial work — such as tree planting, habitat restoration, beach or roadside clean-ups, or conservation volunteering of your own chosing.
4. Share Your Impact
Send a photo or short note showing the work you completed. Your contribution becomes part of the wider Intenature environmental story.
