Inspiration: a rework of the recycle symbol designed to reflect the imperfections found in nature.

Inspiration: Leave Nothing but Footprints asks whether our idea of “light impact” is truthful, or simply convenient. It invites reflection on how even brief human actions can dominate landscapes shaped by countless smaller lives, and whether humility—not just intention—should guide how we move through the natural world.

Title: Surat Shipwreck

Paper: tussock grass, beach sand and a paper carry bag
Paints: broken terracotta clay pot; charcoal and ochre
Frame: repurposed flotsam - part of a wrecked old rowing boat that washed up at the head of the Catlin's Lake. The picture is hung with woven flax cord.
Brush: twig from the garden with the artist's hair bound to the stem with flax.
Inspiration: This work was produced as if the artist was shipwrecked without any possessions. In keeping with the Intenature concept, he had to make all of his artist's supplies from scratch.

Paints: Titanium white, broken terracotta clay pot; charcoal and ochre

Inspiration: This work was produced in response to ever increasing amount of plastic waste being consumed by endangered species.
