Earthlore is teeming with bird life. There are six breeding pair of Tui, four breeding pair of Kereru (native woodpigeon) and numerous bellbirds who live here all year round along with a number of fantail, grey warbler and the occasional shining cuckoo. A pair of quail pay us a visit from time to time too so bring your camera for some excellent photo opportunities.
Awesome afternoon had by all ages at Earthlore. Fantastic chance for the kids to get up close and personal with some bugs. Loved the flea circus, donkeys, fruit forest and dress ups. Must do if you're near Owaka
